Artist Statement

The idea of something being forgotten and left behind has always fascinated me and this thought, whether conscious or unconscious, ultimately leads to the forgotten.

The pieces eventually become an act of devotion, as one of the main focuses of the work is the time spent with each piece.

I prefer to work in whichever medium best suits the work, depending on the properties of the chosen materials and the desired outcome of each piece.

My main aim is to ensure a longevity for these forgotten objects; as a means of preserving the history linked to them.
